SparrowHawk COVID-19 Information + Updates
Dear SparrowHawk Family,
It is with a wide range of emotions, excitement, anticipation and great attention to detail that we announce plans to resume tattoo services, after June 1. Our artists and studio will remain operating by appointment only and, just as before, you should consult with the artist directly about his or her consultation and booking process.
While we miss everyone terribly, we feel we could not offer services until every measure has been taken to assure our clients’ and each others’ health and safety. Your health and safety is of paramount importance to us as we navigate these challenging times, but so is leaning into our “new normal.”
Here are a few steps we have taken for protective measure and a few new rules for the time being. We hope you know that we are doing what is required of us, plus implementing additional measures on our own.
Following OSHA’s Guidance for Preparing Workplaces for Covid19.
Environmental Deep Clean and Sanitation of Studio prior to re-opening.
Following the Fulton County Board of Health rules and regulations that we always follow PLUS the new Georgia Department of Public Health Guidelines for Covid 19.
Wearing masks, gloves and other PPE that is available during appointments.
Requesting that clients bring their own mask (ear loops, not tied) and be prepared to wear it at all times whenever possible. If you do not have one with you, we will sell you one for $3.
We have updated our Policies and Procedures and Operating Agreements to include the new Guidelines. We have been verbally trained on new protocols and have received physical written copies to keep for reference.
Temperature checks available for employees and clients.
Signing an agreement with each other and from our clients stating we have not experienced symptoms of Covid19, nor are we living with anyone who is.
Contactless greetings.
No beverage service.
Staying home when feeling sick and asking our clients do the same.
Scheduled space between appointments to do full studio sanitation.
Limiting the amount of client to one per artist at a time. Absolutely no guests allowed.
Clients arriving to the appointment will be asked to remain outside until notified to come in.
Upon entering the studio, clients will be given hand sanitizer.
Social distancing between staff within the studio at all times.
Touchless payment processing.
We will continue to make changes to our offerings as we move into new phases of the re-opening and continue to rely on the advice of public health experts. If any client has a question, concern or hesitation and would like to speak to owner Amy Leavell Bransford, email info@sparrowhawkatl.com.
Sincerely and Safely,
Amy Leavell Bransford
